It is getting nicer outside, which means it is almost time to cut my hair! Instead of just throwing it away, I donate my hair to "Locks of Love." This is what my blog is about today. "Locks of Love" is a non-profit organization that started in 1997. They provide hair pieces for financially disadvantaged youths that suffer from medical hair loss. There are recipients all over the United States and Canada. I personally believe this is an amazing cause.
In order to donate, your hair must be:
-at least 10 inches
-in a ponytail or braid when cut
-must be shipped in a certain way
Most people assume that they have done something to their hair so that it cannot be used. However, hair that has been dyed, permed, cut long ago, layered, and even curly hair pulled straight are all acceptable. I realize that there are some who would like to help but don't have long enough hair. You can donate with check or credit card, too. Hopefully, some of you will tell other people you know about "Locks of Love."

Ch-Check It Out
There is a hot new show called “An Idiot Abroad” on the Science Channel. I thought that this show would be completely ridiculous and annoying; however, it is now one of my favorites! Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant send Karl Pilkington to see the 7 Wonders of the World.

The point of the show was to see if Pilkington would be able to see the world in another way. While he complains a lot, Pilkington does learn a great deal about different cultures and countries. The best part of the show is that you get to see the truth about life in those countries. Make sure you check the show out! Episodes are available on iTunes.

Also, I have recently become addicted to "how to" make up videos on YouTube. I stumbled across a video that shows you how to do Strawberry nails. These nails are really cute and pretty easy to do. The YouTuber- Bubzbeauty- shows how to do all sorts of nail, hair, and make up styles. Check out her channel!
Hopefully you enjoyed this blog and sorry about the randomness!!! xD
